Our Publications

The VPRF addresses a broad range of issues, encompassing animal health and welfare policy, international trade, agriculture, climate change, and energy, amongst others. Given the often complex and intricate nature of these topics, a solid foundation of background knowledge is essential. One of the roles of the Parliamentary Veterinary Intern is to produce briefings for Lord Trees, offering comprehensive summaries into forthcoming parliamentary business as well developing fact files for public access. These materials aim to provide a relevant and up-to-date scientific overview on each subject matter. In addition, the intern also produces articles, published on an irregular basis in the Veterinary Record, to inform readers within the veterinary community about ongoing parliamentary proceedings relevant to the profession. While freely accessible, we kindly request appropriate acknowledgment of the information's source in any references made from any of our published work.
